LA Jiu Jitsu Club was founded in 2015 in the living room of two Marines: Eric Medina and Joey Hauss, both black belts under Jean Jacque Machado. The LA Jiu Jitsu Club was known as the hidden gem for all the great jiu-jitsu athletes in the San Fernando Valley to practice and teach their skills to each other. Today the LAJJC is opened to all to learn the Gentle Art of jiu-jitsu in beautiful Camarillo, California. We welcome everyone no matter what age, experience or fitness level.

Professor Eric Medina

Eric Medina is a First Degree black belt under master Jean Jacque Machado. He is an international competitive jiu-jitsu champion and former Marine. Despite his rugged resume, Professor Medina is a calm soul who inspires his students with a stoic mindset and an emphasis on self defense.
